Underfloor heating leak detection instruments are an efficient and useful tool in pipe detection. The following are the detailed steps for pipe line detection using the underfloor heating leak detection instrument:

1. Initial setup: First, place the sensor accurately on the ground directly above the pipe line, for example, we can start from point A.

2. Listening and observing: During the listening and detecting process, it is necessary to relax the connection line between the sensor and the handle to keep the sensor stable and motionless. Choose a relatively quiet point in time and carefully recognize the size and audio of the leakage sound. At the same time, pay attention to observe the change of the horizontal bar in the LCD display, and record the effective value (i.e., minimum value) of the point.

3. Detection along the line: After completing the detection of a point, release the handle and move to the next point (e.g., points B, C, D, E) in steps of 0.2 to 1.0 meters along the direction of the pipeline, and then repeat the above steps.

4. Maximum value location: Among multiple detection points, find the point with the largest minimum value (e.g., point C in the figure) and conduct multiple detections around the point to achieve precise location of the leak.

Note: When detecting leaks along the pipeline, the multiple detection points should be selected to ensure that the minimum value undergoes the process of changing from small to large and then from large to small. If the effective value (minimum value) of the selected detection points along the pipeline tends to decrease, the detection points should be selected in the opposite direction.
