Preparing for spa well drilling

One of the more important aspects of spa project development is spa drilling, so it is necessary to find a spa drilling company with good quality, service and after-sales service to drill the well in the early stages of spa construction. In order to ensure the successful completion of the drilling, relevant research work needs to be done prior to drilling the well. So what kind of research work should be done before drilling a well in a hot spring? Mr. Ding from Yunnan Geological Drilling Company tells you.

1、Understanding the resource status

Not all places are suitable for hot spring drilling. Hot spring water extraction from underground requires hot spring drilling, and the underground geology is complicated, so choosing a reliable hot spring drilling can understand the net flow and discharge conditions of geothermal water recharge at the project site in advance, and also grasp its underground rock layer. Hot spring drilling requires finding four major elements, namely: heat source, recharge, access and overburden. The first stage of a detailed investigation of a hot spring is to better locate these four elements and then conduct hot spring drilling, which makes it easier to successfully drill a well.

Depending on the formation factors, rocks can be classified into three types: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. The sensation of hammering can vary due to the different formation factors of the rocks, including rigid sound, flexible sound and brittle sound. On the other hand, brittle rocks and soluble rocks such as limestone are more likely to form wells. Therefore, before drilling a well in a spa center, you can measure the overburden of the original rock and drill a well in an area where the overburden is very strong. Generally, proximity to a fault fracture zone is a better place to drill a well.

2. Conduct a detailed survey and physical exploration

Before drilling a well in a hot spring, you need to conduct a detailed geothermal resource survey so that you can understand the geological topography geothermal resources of the project in detail. Physical exploration is a very important part of the geothermal resource survey, and the use of appropriate physical exploration methods can provide a more detailed understanding of the project's suitability for drilling and provide a reference basis for drilling design, and in general, a common method for finding water is electrical exploration, and using this method can be specifically divided into high-density electrical exploration method, compound electrical exploration method, four-level symmetric profile method, laser method and vertical electrical method, etc. Using different methods, the applicable conditions and interference factors are different, and need to be selected according to local conditions.

In short, all the above work should be done before the spa drilling, only then can we improve the chances of successful spa drilling, which is also the preparation work before the spa drilling to better identify the location of the spa drilling. Only when the exact location of the spa drilling is determined can the next step be taken, thus ensuring the smooth implementation and completion of the drilling.
