When geothermal wells are drilled, thermal response experiments are usually conducted through test wells, and then more accurate data are obtained through special software calculations before drilling.

1、According to the hydrogeological investigation report and water resources demonstration report of the test well, the amount of water (related to the thickness of the aquifer, and the size of the wellhead also has a slight influence), recharge capacity, etc.

2、According to the area to be heated or cooled, calculate the heat load and cooling load, and determine the type and number of water source heat pump units and the amount of water required.

3、Consider the geographical location of the well site and the influence of climate. (For example, if there is a dam nearby, the length of the rainy season will have an effect.) First calculate the heat emission and heat absorption based on the load. When doing thermal response test, such as no conditions to do the test, you can estimate based on experience ~ buried pipes are divided into single U, double U, casing and other forms, usually custom products, the site is now doing not much, and not economical, so there is no well bottom connection.

4, if you do ground source heat pump, then you must sit geological exploration, to understand the underground soil temperature, generally do ground source heat pump cost much higher than the cost of water source heat pump, water source heat pump, then you must look at your project groundwater per hour how many tons of water per well, but water source heat pump, then you must consider the recharge problem, water source heat pump recharge problem is the premise of good operation of water source heat pump, with a backup well. It is to consider the recharge problem. If each well produces 200 tons of water per hour, but the recharge pressure is too high to recharge 200 tons of water back to the well, it is usually divided into two or three wells to recharge the water source heat pump.

Ground source heat pump closed system will not affect the water, the water will be circulated in the buried pipes, not outward; soil, then there does not seem to be much impact; disadvantages have ah, expensive, other considerations: if the green area or parking area is relatively large, you can consider ground source, because the ground source needs a larger area to do buried pipes. Instead, consider water-source heat pumps.

In addition, the cost of the drilling part of ground source is significantly higher than that of water source, and some geological conditions are not very suitable for ground source heat pump, and it is too difficult to drill wells.
