Pipeline detection is most people on the road, so safety is undoubtedly heavy, road safety measures after opening the well cover, found a large smell in the well, should be opened as soon as possible to connect the well cover ventilation, until the smell is very small, no test. Well cover open, in addition to equipment, each person should be slightly away from the well location to avoid people accidentally fall into the well. After opening the well, it is vital to operate safely without smoking in the well location. In the name of the pipeline doctor to take the pulse of the underground pipe network to confirm the diagnosis, so that the underground pipe network safe operation. The following are several common leak detection methods

 Water Leak Detector

1. Intake pipe leak detection

Don't always use water. Look at the water meter first, write down the numbers, and check it 2-3 hours later. If the inlet pipe is leaking, you will soon see a leak test. A leaky inside water pipe usually leads to wet walls. The treatment is simple. Check the leaking pipe and replace it. If it leaks downstairs, it only means that the waterproofing on your home's floor may be ineffective.

2. Drain Leak Detection

Close the lock and drain all possible water. Find a hose to flush the floor drain and hold it for a long time to see if there will be a leak downstairs. (Note: Do not let any water flow out of the floor drain at this time to accurately detect if the drain is leaking.) As the toilet drain is damaged, water seepage is not very serious. You can pry open the floor tile near the floor drain, dig out a space nearly 3 cm deep, then plug it with a leak-proof, and conduct a water plugging test for about 1 hour to check whether there is water seepage. If the water continues to leak, professional workers need to replace the cast iron sewer pipe, preferably PVC or polyethylene sewer pipe.

3. Floor leak detection

Plug the floor drain and put down the water in the bathroom to see if water leaks downstairs. Find a hose to connect to the faucet, locate the leak accurately, and let the water flush down to the floor drain. Be careful not to let the water run onto the floor. Hold on for 2 hours and see if there are more leaks downstairs. If the floor leak is leaking, it is best to treat the leak if the concrete around the floor drain outlet pipe is not dense and waterproof. Treat the leak with a leak stopper and waterproofing paint: open a 2-3 cm wide circular slot around the floor drain outlet. Mix the leak stopper into a paste, fill the tank, collect the water (about 30 minutes) and then compact and polish with a compressor.

4. Waterproof layer leakage detection

Close all locks, drain all water from the plumbing, and perform a 24-48 hour closed water test upstairs to check for leaks downstairs. If there is no problem with the inlet and drainage pipes, the waterproofing layer is leaking downstairs and the waterproofing layer is damaged leading to leakage.

5. Pressure test comparison method

Water pressure test comparison method is the most commonly used leak test method. After the pipe valve is closed, connect the relevant instruments to ensure that the entire circuit is well sealed. If the pipe drops pressure, in the use of PQWT pipe leak detector along the pipe row, and finally find the leak point.

The pressure test comparison method is one of the fast and effective leak detection methods.
